The Area Lighting Research AA-305 is a compact line-voltage button-eye photocell designed to automatically control outdoor lighting from dusk to dawn. Operating on 120VAC electrical systems, the AA-305 is ideal for lower-wattage outdoor fixtures including wall lanterns, porch lights, security lights, landscape fixtures, and decorative luminaires. Its compact design allows installation where space is limited while providing dependable automatic photoelectric switching.

Rated for lighting loads up to 300 watts, the AA-305 automatically turns connected fixtures ON at dusk and OFF at dawn based on ambient light levels. Its rear-exit wire leads simplify installation in confined fixture housings, while the UV-stabilized high-impact polycarbonate housing and weather-resistant construction provide long-lasting outdoor durability. The unit is compatible with incandescent, HID, and other compatible lighting technologies operating within its rated capacity.
