The LEDone LOC-EMDR-8W-AC is a compact 8-watt LED emergency driver designed to provide reliable emergency illumination for compatible LED fixtures during power outages. Operating from a wide 100-347VAC input, this emergency backup driver automatically switches connected luminaires into emergency mode, delivering constant 8-watt output for up to 90 minutes to meet life safety lighting requirements. Its compact two-piece design allows for both factory and field installation, making it an excellent solution for commercial, institutional, retail, healthcare, and educational facilities.

Engineered for dependable long-term performance, the LOC-EMDR-8W-AC features intelligent self-testing that automatically performs monthly 30-second diagnostic tests and annual 90-minute discharge tests in accordance with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code requirements. Integrated Li-ion/LiFePO4 battery protection includes over-temperature, over-charge, and over-discharge safeguards, while malfunction indication and built-in 3kV surge protection enhance system reliability and simplify maintenance.
