The Plusrite 1043 MP1000/BT37/BU/4K is a protected 1000 watt metal halide lamp designed for operation in both open and enclosed luminaires. Featuring a BT37-P bulb shape with a mogul E39 (EX39) screw base, this high-output HID lamp is ideal for warehouses, manufacturing facilities, sports venues, industrial plants, and large outdoor lighting applications requiring dependable illumination.

This protected metal halide lamp operates on an ANSI M47/O ballast and produces a 4200K neutral white color temperature with a clear finish. Its protected construction allows safe use in open-rated fixtures while remaining fully compatible with enclosed fixtures. The lamp is designed specifically for base-up (BU) operation.
