The Plusrite 7266 BAMH175-CWA/V5 is a 175-watt magnetic probe start metal halide ballast kit designed to operate ANSI M57 metal halide lamps. Featuring five-tap 120/208/240/277/480V input capability, a CWA (Constant Wattage Autotransformer) circuit type, and a complete pre-wired component kit, this ballast provides dependable starting and operating performance for commercial and industrial HID lighting systems.

This ballast kit is engineered for multi-voltage installations and includes the components required for standard probe start metal halide operation. Its Constant Wattage Autotransformer (CWA) design provides stable lamp performance, high power factor operation, and reliable compatibility with ANSI M57 metal halide systems. No ignitor is required for probe start lamps.

Operating from 120/208/240/277/480V input, the ballast consumes 215 input watts with maximum line currents of 1.85A (120V), 1.10A (208V), 0.90A (240V), 0.80A (277V), and 0.40A (480V). The ballast measures 2.44 × 4.02 inches, weighs 7.0 lbs, utilizes coil temperature code B/C/C/B/B, requires a 10µF / 400V minimum capacitor, and uses wiring diagram M1-V5.
